The dates for the final exam could alter. Registration The exam schedule is available on the internet, and students are advised to consult it. However it is important to note that the final exam schedule may change at any time. Therefore, students should consult their instructors to ensure that they have the correct date and time for their test. Students should also make sure to print out the official list and bring it to their exams. In addition to the exam schedule, students should familiarize themselves with the exam guidelines and conditions and terms. These are on the page for each exam. After registering, students acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions. Exam locations make every effort to accommodate those with special requirements. The nature and severity of these needs should be stated on the registration form and confirmed by an attestation of a doctor. In addition, the exam locations must respect confidentiality and be maintained. If a student has three examinations scheduled on the same day, it is suggested to contact their department or instructor to arrange an alternate exam. It is possible to have three examinations on the same day. However, this could result in a lot of stress and affect the quality of the exam. Additionally, the professor may not be able to conduct a makeup test on a different day. Before taking the test Students must prepare for the exam by reviewing their course material and practice their German skills. The test is a paper-based test that tests the ability to read, speak and write in German. The results of the examination are presented using a scale ranging from A1 to C2. Students who succeed in passing the test are awarded the Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate certifies the attainment of the language level A1. This level is the first stage of the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The test is free of cost. Students must bring a valid government-issued ID to the test. Those without a valid photo identification will be disqualified. Fees If you have completed your studies at Elan Academy and wish to obtain the Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (start German 1), you must pay the examination fee. This is in addition to the course fees. Practice assessments provide you with an overview of the style, wording and difficulty of questions on the exam. They allow you to assess your level, discover gaps in your knowledge and increase your chances of passing the test. Please note that the exam fee is not refundable. Exam results are only electronically sent, not via phone.
